Meet Madison Richars

I'm Madison — a Registered Dietitian with over 10 years of experience and a certified Pilates instructor. I founded Enriched Nutrition for the clients I kept encountering — people who genuinely wanted to feel better, but weren't sure where to start, or who had tried countless approaches and were ready for something different.

My practice is rooted in nutrition counseling, not rigid protocols. I focus on understanding the full picture of how you live, what drives your habits, and what stands in the way — then developing a personalized approach that is both evidence-based and sustainable for your actual life. My areas of focus include fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum nutrition, blood sugar management, and weight management.

Teaching Pilates alongside my nutrition practice has reinforced something I believe deeply: that how we treat our bodies matters as much as what we feed them.

Guidance you can trust. Support you can feel.

I’m committed to providing guidance that is both grounded in current research and deeply personalized to you. Lasting change isn't just about knowing what to do — it's about having the right support to follow through.

A little more about me

My interest in nutrition started early. Growing up active, I found myself drawn to nutrition programs when applying to colleges — I wanted to understand how food affected performance, energy, and long-term health, and knew it was a field I'd be passionate about for life. I began my career in collegiate sports nutrition and have loved that my path has grown and evolved alongside me.

Over time I gravitated toward private practice, where I could work more deeply with individuals rather than teams. That one-on-one dynamic is where I do my best work — and it's shaped everything about how I practice today.

My interest in maternal health grew naturally as this chapter of life became more personal and present. It's an area I find deeply meaningful and one that doesn't always get the attention it deserves. Blood sugar management became equally important to me when I realized how profoundly it affects nearly everyone — energy, mood, sleep, focus — regardless of whether there's a clinical reason to pay attention to it. It's one of the most impactful areas of nutrition, and one I return to again and again.

Outside of my practice, movement has always been a constant — though the way I approach it has changed significantly. After years of playing sports growing up, I found my body craving something more restorative. Today I prioritize movement that helps me feel connected rather than depleted — Pilates, tennis, walking, and the occasional half marathon. When I'm not moving, you'll find me in the kitchen cooking or baking, traveling when I can, or at a table — whether that's mahjong, spades, or dominos, I'm always up for a good game.

I started Enriched Nutrition to work with motivated people who are ready to stop guessing and start feeling better. Nutrition information is everywhere — and much of it is conflicting, overwhelming, or simply not relevant to your life. My goal is to make nutrition feel approachable and empowering, so that lack of knowledge or resources is never what stands in the way.
